PREVIOUSLY THIS SEASON:
• Our  '2024 Fall Concert',  which was postponed due to unexpected delays in renovations at Ascension Holy Trinity Church, took place on SUNDAY, MARCH 2nd at 3:00 p.m. at Ascension Holy Trinity Church - 1585 Rt. 9W, West Park NY
 
This concert  included movements from  Victoria's Missa Magnum Mysterium, two sacred works of Bruckner (Locus Iste & Os Justi), Brahms Warum ist das Licht gegeben dem Mühseligen, Schoenberg's Drei Volkslieder (Opus 49), and Reena Email's A Winter Breviary.
Annual Service of Lenten Lessons & Anthems
Sunday, April 6th - 3:00 p.m.
Holy Cross Monastery - 1615 Rt 9W, West Park NY

Consisting of a series of  readings interspersed with sacred choral works and congregational hymns, the contemplative nature of this event provides a meaningful time for introspection and reflection, regardless of religious affiliation (or lack thereof). This year  featured pieces by Antonio Lotti, Antonin Tučapsky, Zdenêk Lukáš, Maurice Duruflé, Philip Stopford, a traditional 19th century folk hymn arranged by our own Craig Fryer, and Indodana: a traditioanl Xhosa (South African) Lament.

 

Good Friday Service
Friday, April 18th - 7:00 p.m.
Redeemer Lutheran Church - 90 RT. 32 South, New Paltz NY

 

This moving Good Friday event featured sacred choral works sung by Kairos woven throughout the reading of The Passion.
